promenyWell, I wrote 1888 words of the story last night.
If the book is going to be 50,000 words long, then I just completed about four percent of it in one sitting.
I am obviously very excited and motivated to write this book. It is a wonderful idea and as I have said before, it is the first time I know where the story is going. I know it from beginning to end, although the end could change somewhat.
I drank some beer last night, but not enough to get drunk, of course. I gave myself an ultimatum: I can have beer if I write. If I don't write, I can't have it. I think it will work.
I'm so excited about it that I have even come up with the title and the cover. I don't know how to do art very well outside of minor pixel art, but I could still do it if I am motivated enough.
I just feel great. It was so odd how a few days ago I just felt like I couldn't do anything, and now here I am, having got a great idea in my head and all the energy and time to do it.
Odd how that works.
