promenyLast night I went to the same bar as last time with my roommate and we ended up playing music together. I played the bongo drums while he played guitar and sang. I was supposedly not bad at it, especially since I've never played them before.
I might attend a debate on Francis Bacon this afternoon, if I can remember to do so. I also meet with my professor friend tomorrow but I might forget about that; I really hope that I don't.
I recently heard back from my former adviser at MTSU; he told me not to worry about objective standards of happiness. Probably a good idea. Apparently one of my old friends from MTSU is now working at Vanderbilt; that is sort of nice.
I sort of miss my MTSU years; they were productive years in terms of intellect and emotional maturity, and I also didn't have to work too hard. Although if I went back to graduate school it probably wouldn't be the same. Well, maybe it would be a little bit; I guess it would depend where and what program.
