I had a talk with my roommate the other day, about truth. I told him that I think that while there are absolute truths, that there are also truths that alternate, truths that are conditional, and truths that operate in relative degrees. My main message was that there aren't as many absolute truths as we are led to believe, and that it is hard to know what they are. However, he held the belief that all truths are absolute. Some of them definitely are, sure, but to be honest I really don't think that life works in such a set-in-stone fashion.

Today I'm going to be having dinner with my professor friend, as well as with a few others. I hope I will have a good time. I like having friends but I'm not very social; it drains me a bit.
