Oct. 6th, 2013 01:11 pmToday I went to church, and afterwards we had communion. They don't have it very often. I quite liked it, and was sincere in partaking in it. I talked with the pastor later on about how most people don't want to know more about God because they are either afraid they will find out things that they don't like, or otherwise don't like thinking too much (the sermon was about that). He more or less agreed with me. I really like the church a lot.
Yesterday I met my aunt; we went to a Mexican restaurant but I had already ate, so I just had chips and a beer. But I still liked it a lot; I was entertaining and they were, too.
During my talk with my professor friend yesterday I asked him if he seriously thought that God was a old man with a white beard sitting on a golden throne in Heaven, and he said no. He added that the Mormons think that way. I asked that because my Mom often used that phrase to describe the silliness of fundamentalist Christians (not that I've become one). The talk yesterday was good; he suggested that I start with the New Testament when I asked him how I should start reading the Bible.
I posted my game, Mutos, on a better site today. Hopefully people will like it there.
