promenyToday is the one year anniversary of me moving into my current apartment.
I have really liked my stay there so far. And I've learned a lot about others, as well as about myself, since then. I'm very glad that I've been able to be there; it was a real blessing.
"I and Thou" is actually turning out really good; I have only one more chapter left, and I'm really looking forward to it. I've found recently that most good books don't seem to be good in the beginning, but then they gracefully reveal themselves towards the end. Probably because what you begin to read doesn't seem very obvious in the beginning, but after reading it for a while you start to have a better understanding, and thus a better appreciation.
What I find interesting is that most of the time when I read I don't always think of what the book is saying, but rather of a tangibly-related idea that has spun off from what was just presented to me. At least that means that I am thinking for myself.
I might try to write in my notebook today. Hopefully I will.
