promenyWell, I sort of turn 30 today, but I always count the 20th as my birthday. Just what I prefer, usually.
It is sort of odd that today is the last day of being in my 20s. I honestly don't know how to feel about it because I was a completely different person when I was 20-23, a mostly different person from 24-27, and still somewhat distinguishable from the age of 28 to now.
It is like I lived multiple lifetimes in a span of a decade.
Well, at least my life hasn't been boring.
I wonder if my 30s are going to be the same way. I sort of doubt it, because I've heard from multiple sources in graduate school that your personality plateaus around the age of 30. Besides, most of the novel stuff in your life happens when you are in your teens or college years. Now, change can still happen, but it is far less likely.
My young life has been full of tragedy, obstacles, and pain. But if it wasn't for those things, I wouldn't have gained so much knowledge and depth. So it might have worked out for the best.
No way to say for sure, though.
