promenyI actually wrote a lot last night; my urge came back in full force. I'm now at nearly 12,000 words, which would mean that the book is about a quarter done. That is really pretty impressive, given that I've only been writing for about a week and I've already broke a record.
Most of the writing took up a scene, where Saranna was being roughly inspected by the police in jail before getting processed. Many people would get the notion that I'm a sadist for writing that, but I really have nothing but compassion for Saranna, even knowing what she'll turn into later in the book.
I went to church today, but the pastor wasn't there; someone else did the sermon. I don't regret going, but if I knew that he wasn't going to be there, I wouldn't have gone.
All in all, I'm doing a little better. My head feels sort of funny but I'm used to that, usually.
